U8 Blue vs Nairne

U8 blue had a great game against Nairne club this morning in the drizzling rain and cold. The team took a little while to warm up but once they did, they managed to score 5 goals for the whole game, which is a season record. They all played well together and did some excellent passes. Well done to all the team.

U8 Blue vs Torrens Valley

It was a frosty start against TVSC at birdwood. The teams were evenly matched and it was a good competitive game. WW blue played some good soccer making the game spread all over the pitch. There were many attempts at goals with both teams goalies defending well. WW coming away with another win to boost their confidence.

U8 Blue vs Stirling Districts

The team played Stirling districts this morning at Aldgate PS oval. It was a physical game, one that the team was not used to. All players did very well amongst getting pushed over and even one player was kicked in the face!!! He recovered very well. The team is playing so well together but only managed 2 goals. The parents are appreciated the sunny mornings!!

U8 Blue vs Stirling Districts

U8 blue team played and all girls team from Stirling Districts this morning. Some of the girls were very tall and appeared double the size of some of our players!! Our boys played wonderfully as a team, carefully negotiating the passes to each other in order to get it to the goals. The boys found spaces amongst the opposition in which to receive ball. They all played a great game and showed how much their skills have grown since the start of the season. Well done team.

U8 Blue vs Stirling East

U8 blue played their early morning match on a frosted pitch on a very cold sat morning. As the sun came out, the pitch changed to green!!! The boys played a very skilled Stirling east side on a very sloped oval. The team struggled to keep the ball away from opposition goal side in the first half but greatly improved by the second half. They all worked on kicking the ball the right way, looking out for team players and spreading out looking for available passes. They even welcomed back player and assistant coach Darby, who supported the team from the side lines whilst injured. Well done to the whole team.
